Class Information

• Level 1  -  (6 to 15 months) - fundamental breath holding and back floating.  - A series of one on one lessons to teach infants to hold their breath and then turn over and back float independently. Our students practice these survival skills and can accomplish them, even fully clothed!  We will customize each lesson to the student's pace. The number of weeks to complete each level is dependent on the student's personality, health and attendance. Some children cry during the first few days, but almost all of our students begin to enjoy lessons and become quite proud of themselves as they master skills. Every child is unique but, most children complete this course within 16 to 20 lessons.
  • ​Up to 10 minutes per lesson 
  • 4  lessons per week, Monday thru Thursday
  • $100 per week - one on one lessons only 

• Level 2  - (15 months and up) - swimming and floating. - A series of one on one lessons to teach toddlers to swim face down, turn over and back float independently, and then continue swimming. Our students practice these skills and can accomplish them, even fully clothed! We will customize each lesson to the student's pace. The number of weeks to complete each level is dependent on the student's personality, health and attendance. Some children cry during the first few days, but almost all of our students begin to enjoy lessons and become quite proud of themselves as they master skills. Every child is unique but, most children complete this course within 16 to 24 lessons.

• Level 3 - (3 years and up) - stroke , snorkeling and diving introduction. -This level is offered to children who have mastered the skills in Level 2. Students already skilled in basic survival swim techniques can begin to learn the four competitive strokes. Games and fun swim drills will be incorporated into lessons to enhance your child's ability to swim for safety, fun and fitness. Safe jumping and diving sills are taught as well as snorkeling and treading water. These skills can be introduced over just a few weeks or you may continue developing these fun skills throughout the entire summer, depending on instructor availability.

• Level 4  - (5 years and up) - competitive stroke skills - Students will refine stroke and breathing techniques for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. This is great preparation for joining a swim team.

  • 4 lessons per week, Monday thru Thursday

• ADULT - Overcoming Fear - Adults can learn to overcome their fear of the water with the help of a competent professional in a private and safe environment.
  • 30 minutes per lesson, 2 lessons per week
  • OR 15 minutes per lesson, 4 lessons per week
  • $100 per week - one on one lessons only 

• ADULT - Stroke Refinement- Adults can learn to master strokes for participation in triathlons or for personal enjoyment and exercise.
  • 30 minutes per lesson, 2 lessons per week
  • OR 15 minutes per lesson, 4 lessons per week
  • $100 per week - one on one lessons only​

​Cutri Swim Academy is dedicated to preventing pediatric drowning and believes that every child deserves a chance to learn to swim. To further this mission, CSA has partnered with Water Smart Tots. WST offers three levels of assistance.

 Level 1 is for Teachers, Military and First Responders. This scholarship level is NOT a financial need basis. Families in Level 1 receive a scholarship valued at $35 per week (maximum of 6 weeks). Families pay the difference of the $100 weekly fee to the instructor. 

Level 2 is for those who qualify for government assistance such as food stamps or medicaid. These families receive a scholarship valued at $70 per week for a maximum of 6 weeks. Families pay the difference of the $100 weekly fee to the instructor. 

 Level 3 is for families who don't fit either criteria above but have special circumstances. These families are evaluated on a need by need basis by our scholarship committee.
